The Shop Rat Foundation Receives a 10K grant from the SME Education Foundation

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers’ Education Foundation awarded the Shop Rat Foundation $10,000 to be used for Summer Shop Rat Educational Classes. This will be the first year in which the Shop Rat Foundation will be able to provide summer programming.

With the overwhelming number of student applications pouring into the offices of the Shop Rat Education Program the foundation is extremely thankful that it will be able to provide additional classes this summer.

The SME Education Foundation and the Shop Rat Foundation have been working very close to bring hands-on education to the youth. Shop Rat is very thankful and excited about this partnership and looks forward to an exciting future.
