Angela Klobuchar

Angela grew up in Chelsea, MI. She and her husband, Scott, and their daughter, Makendra, live in East Jackson. They also have a son, AJ, who lives in Marquette, where he is currently attending Northern Michigan University.

A teacher at Northwest High School, Angela graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's in Education. In addition to teaching, she also co-coordinates The Learning Fair for the Manufacturing Academy each year. She began working for the Academy with the sole purpose of beginning a new section to the fair dedicated to hands-on learning about manufacturing. The World of Manufacturing has continued to grow each year and in 2005 Angela took on the responsibility as co-coordinator of The Learning Fair.

It was through the Learning Fair that Angela met Chris Salow and John Zonts. She was so impressed with Chris' ideas behind the Shop Rat mission that she enthusiastically became involved. She is so pleased that such outstanding manufacturing opportunities such as those created by Shop Rats are reaching out to our youth.
